Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling treats muscle tissue, and its goal is to reduce pain, inactivate trigger points and restore function. A thin monofilament needle penetrates the skin and treats underlying muscular trigger points for the management of neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. Dry needling can be used for a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues, such as shoulder, neck, heel, hip and back pain.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese Medicine that dates back over 2000 years. With the insertion of a sterile needle, the nervous system is stimulated to encourage natural healing, reduce or relieve pain and tension/trigger points, and improve mood or relax the individual – the goal of acupuncture is balance or homeostasis.

Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem—such as a frozen shoulder. Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons – to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.

Esthetics

Esthetics is a field that is centered around the beautification of the skin. Estheticians are not medical doctors; instead, they are skin care professionals who perform cosmetic skin treatments such as facials and light chemical peels and who can help teach you all you need to know about the proper care of your skin. Estheticians can help you create a daily skin care routine and suggest skin care products that are appropriate for your skin type. In short, estheticians can help you maintain healthy skin.
